Autumn
We looked outside and saw the season beginning to change. Autumn time had arrived. We went outside to celebrate Autumn around us. We then used our ideas to create Autumn Mobile.
We found green, red, yellow and orange leaves falling to the ground. We collected them and sorted them into colour groups.
‘This is the way the leaves fall down, leaves fall down, leaves fall down, this is the way the leaves fall down, falling to the ground.’
We sang a song about Autumn for our Harvest festival
We had fun outside playing in the leaves. We threw the leaves in the air and watched them float to the ground.
We walked in our wellies over the leaves and listened to the sounds they made.
‘Crunch, Crunch, Crunch under my feet’
We used the leaves we collected in our Creative area. We painted the leaves and printed them on paper.
